Hell Yes Fest is a HUGE comedy festival presented by The New Movement. All of the awesome of HYF takes place in New Orleans during the week of November 7th - 11th at multiple venues in the city. We are raising funds to make the festival even more badass than ever before.
On July 9th at 8:30pm, The New Movement is presenting a very special fund raiser edition of our flagship show and we are bringing Harry Shearer to the stage with us. At each Megaphone Show we invite a special guest/local celebrity/fun-person-about-town up on stage to share a few of their favorite true stories. We take details of these stories to inspire fast, smart improv comedy. Come see why this has quickly become our most popular show.
Our guest monologist will be none other than Harry Shearer. Harry Shearer is a New Orleanian who is best known for his work on The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, the radio program Le Show, films such as "This is Spinal Tap", the Huffington Post, and his numerous solo albums. Harry will tell stories and a cast of all star improvisers will draw inspiration from them and improvise scenes based off of Harry's stories.
